Is the music today really crap or am I just simply too old(age 45)?

I like some music from today,no where when I did when I was 20 years old. I keep listening to oldies from the 80's on youtube. I cannot stand Rap(except parents don't understand). Will the teenagers today be doing the same thing in 20 years? The last current song I really liked a lot was Rhianna's umbrella.in 2007(4 years ago). The number of songs I liked over the years has steadily falling since I was 20.
