This song is inspiring a story to me. Help?

So I've been listening to Skinny love by Bon Iver (it's the cover by Birdy) on repeat forever and when I listen to it I think of sadness and stuff and it inspires me to write a sad beginning to the story but I don't know what sort of matches the song. Do you know what I mean? Ugh, I'm not good at explaining things but do you have any ideas?
