Anyone use Flickr to download music? Wondering if its safe...?

I'm looking for a new site to download music from. Everything from oldies to current....anyone use Flickr? It offers a lifetime membership but I'm wondering if anyone has tried it. Any other suggestions. I don't mind paying a fee, but looking for something inexpensive.
